I have always been fascinated by iridescence and reflective surfaces.
During several trips to Southeast Asia, I was very impressed and deeply moved by the interplay of light on the stunning colored mirror mosaics on the Buddhist temples.
In this ongoing series of smaller works, I cover the sculpture with an intricate layer of colored mirror mosaic reminiscent of these spectacular structures.
