An ongoing series since the early '90's, the 'Dog in VW series has been hugely sucessful. They are in many public collections, including Children's Hospitals in Denver, Chicago, and Philidelphia. The doors are actual vintage VW Beetle doors, circa early '60's to mid-'70's. They are stripped, bodyworked, repainted and adapted to hang on a wall. They weigh 40-45# and measure 36" long by 42" high. They are availible in a variety of colors. Many people comission their dog(s) in this format, as portraiture. --DD
